BREWING INSTRUCTIONS

FAST ICED TEA
If you are short on time, brew 4-6 teabags in 1 cup of hot water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Squeeze the teabags and add the tea to a big pitcher of ice. Dilute to taste. How many servings this makes really depends on how much flavor you like. As a guide 1 teabag per person is a good place to start.

COLD BREW TEA
The benefit of making cold brew tea is that the cold brewing process extracts about half the amount of caffeine in the tea. However, it takes 6-12 hours to get a really good cold brew. To make the perfect cold brew pop 4-6 teabags in a pitcher of cold water and put it in the fridge. Fill the pitcher about halfway. Once the tea is brewed remove the teabags with kitchen tongs, squeezing out any tea flavor, then top up the pitcher with ice.

HOT TEA
There is nothing more warming than sipping a hot cup of tea in the winter months. If you’re using a teapot you must first warm up your pot by swirling about a cup of hot water around the inside. Pour it out and your pot is ready for the teabags. Add 1 bag per person and fill the pot with boiling water. Don’t forget to pop on your tea cozy to keep your brew warm. Sipping our tea hot with a squeeze of lemon and a little natural honey can hydrate you and relieve a sore throat. It’s perfect for the colds and flu season.

USING A POD MACHINE TO BREW TEA!
Some of our tea drinkers tell us they pop one of our round teabags right in the reusable Keurig capsule, close the lid, and hit the button for the perfect cup of tea every time. Naturally, we can’t recommend you do this. Every machine is different and we would hate for you to void your warranty by clogging it up with tea leaves.  That said, I personally use my old coffee drip filter every day. I throw a handful of teabags in the top and when it’s done fill up the pot with ice and voila. Iced tea in the jug ready to go.pods
SWEETENER
All our teabags are unsweetened and many of our customers say the taste is so delicious they don’t need to add sweetener. But If you prefer sweet tea go ahead and sweeten it to taste.
erythritol blue background
Whilst we are on the subject of sweetener, have you tried monk fruit extract or erythritol? Erythritol is a fermented sugar that’s almost as sweet as regular sugar, with zero calories and no aftertaste. Just be careful with the monk fruit. It’s super sweet. Monk fruit extract is 150 to 200 times sweeter than sugar.
