Is tea safe for kids?
We understand that parents want to make the best possible choices for their children's health. So, here is our take on tea for kids:
- Yes, our tea has caffeine, but it also has theanine. Theanine is an amino acid that has calming effects. When caffeine and theanine are combined, they create a balanced effect that is less likely to cause jitters or anxiety in children.
- Tea also contains high levels of flavonoids, which are good for heart health.
- Tea is hydrating, not dehydrating.
Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to give your child tea is up to you. However, we can say that our tea is pure and has no added sugar. In moderation, and without added sugar, the occasional Tuovus Tea might not do too much harm.
